Arsenal have confirmed the signing of England defender Ben White from English Premier League rivals Brighton Hove Albion.
According to reports, the Gunners splashed 50 million pounds on the England international as they continue to build their squad before the season begins.
Arsenal confirmed on their website that the defender signed a long-term contract as he became their third summer signing.
White was linked with a move to top Premier League sides but opted for a move to Arsenal at the end of the day.
The 23-year-old was handed the famous number 4 jersey previously worn by Cesc Fabregas and will be hoping to deliver for the Gunners.
Arsenal fans will hope to see their new signing in their game against their bitter rivals Chelsea this weekend. The club confirmed that the defender will join his new teammates in training with immediate effect.
