Manchester United took all three points against Brighton Hove Albion yesterday, as they came back from a goal down to win 2-1 at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils keep their hopes of finishing in the top-four alive, as they defeated the Seagulls to move 14 points behind the league leaders Manchester City.
Despite the win over Graham Potter’s side, United were dealt with a huge blow as one of their players might miss the rest of the season due to injury.
After the win yesterday, the Red Devils’ manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that his team might be without Anthony Martial for the remainder of the season. He said this during a chat with MUTV after the game.
The Former Monaco striker injured his knee while on international duty with the French national team last week, an injury that might keep him on the sidelines till the season ends.
Another major problem for Solskjaer side is the injury of Marcus Rashford. The England international was substituted few minutes after getting the equaliser against the Seagulls.
United will face Spanish side Granada in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday with Rashford being a doubt according to the club’s manager.
