Fulham are reportedly delaying a decision on the permanent signing of Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze, as negotiations over the transfer fee continue.
The dynamic wide man joined the English Premier League side on a season-long loan from AC Milan during the summer transfer window.
As part of the agreement, a €24 million buy option was included in the deal that brought the former Villarreal CF attacker to England.
However, reports indicate Fulham are now attempting to renegotiate and lower the agreed fee, according to Milan Press.
Despite stiff competition for places in attack, Chukwueze has delivered encouraging performances for the London side.
The 27-year-old has contributed three goals and four assists across 20 Premier League appearances for the Cottagers.
