Manchester United star Raphael Varane has been ruled out of the Red Devils important clash against Arsenal in the English Premier League at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
Varane was injured in Manchester United’s comeback win over Nottingham Forest last weekend at Old Trafford and he is expected to be ruled out of action for few weeks.
Varane now joins Luke Shaw, Kobbie Mainoo, Malacia, and Mason Mount on the list of injured players for the Red Devils.
Manchester United released an official statement on their website to confirm Varane injury.
“Raphael Varane will be missing from the team when Manchester United face Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday due to injury,” the club confirmed.
“The France international came off at half-time in our 3-2 win against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford on Saturday due to the complaint, which is expected to keep him out for a few weeks.
“Erik ten Hag may provide an update on team news during the pre-match press conference on Friday.”
