Barcelona have been active in the transfer market as they confirm the signing of a new striker. The Catalans signed Yusuf Demir from SK Rapid Vienna on a season-long loan.
The young striker was a target for many European top sides but eventually signed for the Blaugranas.
Barcelona released an official statement on their website to confirm the signing of Demir.
“FC Barcelona and SK Rapid Vienna have reached an agreement on the loan of Yusuf Demir for the 2021/22 season,” the club stated.
Barcelona also confirmed the amount they will pay for the loan fee and also have an option of a non-mandatory purchase of 10 million euros.
“Barça is paying 500,000 euros for the operation and holds a non-mandatory option to purchase for 10 million.”
