UCL Final: Brazil legend predicts winner of PSG vs Arsenal showdown

Brazil legend Cafu has predicted a tough and exciting contest when Arsenal face PSG in the Champions League final on Saturday evening.

Speaking with the Daily Mail Sport, the former AC Milan defender praised Arsenal’s threat from set-pieces and warned that the Premier League side could cause problems for PSG.

“I really don’t know who will win because it is very difficult to predict,” Cafu said.

“I can’t say today whether it will be Paris or Arsenal because both teams are very balanced in quality.”

The Brazilian also described Arsenal as a dangerous side that has impressed throughout the competition.

“Arsenal are a very dangerous team. They know how to make use of set-pieces very well,” he added.

“They have had a fantastic Champions League campaign and have not conceded many goals. That is why I believe it will be a very big final.”

Arsenal will aim to win their first-ever European title this weekend when they take on Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final.

The Gunners are hoping to complete a historic domestic and European double after ending their 22-year wait for the Premier League title.

Arsenal secured their place in the final after beating Atletico Madrid 2-1 on aggregate in the semi-finals.

PSG reached the final by edging past Bayern Munich 6-5 on aggregate in a dramatic last-four clash.

Saturday’s encounter at the Puskas Arena will be the eighth meeting between PSG and Arsenal in all competitions.

Both teams have won two matches each, while three previous meetings ended in draws.

The French side won the last two meetings between the clubs, defeating Arsenal home and away last campaign.

This will also be the fourth Champions League meeting between PSG and Arsenal since the start of last season.
