Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is reportedly interested in signing Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface as the former Barcelona coach seek a rival for Erling Haaland at the Etihad.
The Nigerian international’s performance this season has impressed most of the big clubs in Europe’s top five leagues.
Guardiola is on a lookout for a rival for Haaland, and the Cityzens boss is monitoring Boniface’s progress with Bayer Leverkusen, according to reports from Sports Brief as per Fichajes.
The Premier League champions are not the only European club side monitoring the 22-year-old Nigerian striker, with Italian Serie A giants Juventus and Spanish La Liga giants Atletico Madrid also on the lookout.
