OFFICIAL: Chelsea Appoints New Interim Manager After Sacking Graham Potter

Chelsea has confirmed the sacking of Graham Potter as their first coach after their 2-0 loss to Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.

Graham Potter sacked by Chelsea

The former Brighton manager took over the Blues seven months ago and has failed to impress at the dugout. The Blues has decided to appoint new manager who will handle the team on interim basis.

Chelsea released an official statement to confirm the departure of Graham Potter and also appointment of Bruno Saltor as their new manager on interim basis.

“Chelsea FC has announced that Graham Potter has departed the club. Graham has agreed to collaborate with the Club to facilitate a smooth transition.

“In his time with the club, Graham has taken us to the quarter final of the Champions League, where we will face Real Madrid. Chelsea would like to thank Graham for all his efforts and contribution and wish him well for the future.

Graham Potter relieved of managerial duties by Chelsea

“Bruno Saltor will take charge of the team as Interim Head Coach,” the club added.
