3 months from now  Raphael   Sport News

Manchester City has been dealt with a blow as their most consistent midfielder Kevin De Bruyne suffered a knee injury in training, which means the Belgian midfielder could be on the sideline up until October.

The midfielder who was instrumental for the Cityzens title win last season after racking up 12 goals and 21 assists on their way to a 100-point campaign.

The 27-year-old was ruled out for 12 games after suffering an injury in the League Cup against Everton in 2016.

De Bruyne left training on crutches and is now due to undergo tests in Barcelona in the coming days to discover the extent of his knee injury.

Guardiola’s title defence will be having a little challenge, with the former Chelsea midfielder absence in the team likely to be felt.
