Vidal: If I have to put my head on the line to win, I will

It is an evenly contested battle between two super-clubs, but Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal admitted that he hasn't kept up to date with how Real Madrid have been playing in recent weeks.
In fact, he was surprised to learn that they have a 50 plus match scoring run, making a clean sheet all the more difficult at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.
"If I have to leave my head on the line in order to win, then I will," said a defiant Vidal in his pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
"We will leave everything we've got on the pitch.
"I didn't know that they have been on such a scoring run, I just found that out- it is important to keep them from scoring in the first leg."
In terms of favourites, the Chilean admitted that last-year's win means Real are still the team to beat.
"They are slight favourites because they were last year's champions, but we are in good form, are playing well in the Bundesliga and hope to continue," he went on.
"I always say that Bayern Munich are the best team in the world and we've been proving it throughout the year."In front of us we'll have the champions- with great players- but we will try to have control of the ball and the game."
Against Madrid, therefore, the midfielder didn't go into much detail on their system of play and talented players.
"I haven't seen many Real Madrid games since I'm focused on the opponents we have week after week," he concluded.
"I hope everyone can play so that Wednesday's match is as big a spectacle as possible.
"What matters is that we win, hopefully by two goals, so we can be a lot calmer during the second leg in Madrid."
