Luka Modric agrees a new deal

Real Madrid, and Croatian midfielder Luka Modric has agreed to a new contract that will take his salary on par with club captain Sergio Ramos. He will only be behind Gareth Bale in terms of salary.

The announcement will clear the air on the future of the 32-year old at the Santiago Bernabeu after being linked with a move away from the club with Inter Milan showing a strong interest in the midfielder.

The FIFA World cup golden ball winner is poised to make his previous statement come to pass as he wish to finish his football career at the Los Blancos.
