La Liga Calendar

The Spanish La Liga has released its match schedule for the upcoming 2018/19 season; with the first round will take place from August 18th and for the first time, it will be along the lines of an asymmetric calendar.

The defending champions Barcelona will begin their campaign against Alaves at the Camp Nou, while their rival Real Madrid will take on Getafe at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu which will be a Madrid derby, while the game to watch for the first round will be Atletico Madrid's trip to Valencia.

The most anticipated club football in the world El Clasico will first take place at the Camp Nou on October 18th and then at the Bernabeu on March 3rd for the return leg.

Real and Atletico Madrid go head to head at the Bernabeu on September 30th and the reverse fixture is on February 10th.
