Watzke: Perhaps Aubameyang is thinking of Real Madrid and Barcelona

Though his preference is for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to stay at Borussia Dortmund, general manager Hans-Joachim Watzke has said that the Gabon striker would only leave if he can sign for Real Madrid or Barcelona.
Now aged 27, Aubameyang has a contract with Dortmund until 2020, however, his quality on the pitch has not gone unnoticed and he remains coveted by other European clubs.
"I think he will stay with us," Watze said on the 'Doppelpass' programme of the Sport1 TV Channel.
"But if they Real Madrid or Barcelona come in for him, maybe they would think it.
"Every other team aren't a reasonable alternative for him, and we're not going to let him go to Bayern."
Spanish media has speculated on more than one occasion about Real Madrid signing the forward, a possibility that the player himself noted during the celebrations at the Africa Cup of Nations in January this year.
With 25 goals, Aubameyang was the Bundesliga's second-highest scorer in 2015/16, only surpassed by the Bayern's Robert Lewandowski, who scored 30.
This season, he's already found the net on 25 occasions, but with six games still to play. Watzke also praised Bayern after their resounding 4-1 victory over his side.
Indeed, he sees Carlo Ancelotti's team going all the way in the Champions League, despite them entertaining the holders, Real, in the quarter-final on Wednesday.
"I'm curious how Real will play on Wednesday," Watzke said. "For me Bayern are the favourites to win the Champions League."
