Kano Pillars edged past Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM) FC 1-0 in a Match Day 27 fixture of the Nigeria Professional Football League played at the Sani Abacha Stadium last weekend.
Razaq Adegbite's effort came off the post in the 27th minute as the home side looked to stamp their authority on the game.
Persistent Pillars pressure eventually paid off just after the hour mark when Gambo Mohammed headed home from the back post to give his side a lead that they held on to to secure all three points.
