Despite being on the losing side, the Brazilian teenage sensation Vinicius Jnr. Has pledged to fans that he will make sure Los Blancos get the best of him.

He put up a standout performance against Manchester United causing problems on the left flanks, a match which happens to be his first appearance for Real Madrid.

"I have fulfilled a childhood dream by wearing the Real Madrid shirt, and regardless of the result I am very happy," Vinicius Jr. told reporters in Miami after the match.

"Everything felt good, but there is still a lot to do in order to improve for the season ahead.

"Everyone here [at Real Madrid] has helped me to adapt as quickly as possible, I am very happy and grateful [for this] and the International Champions Cup is a good opportunity for me."

Next up for Real Madrid is Juventus at the at the FedExField in Landover, Maryland on Sunday, hopefully the teenager gets to feature.
