Aware that their match against Barcelona will draw a lot of attention, Villarreal have announced they will reveal their new stadium name this upcoming Sunday.
A series of events are scheduled to start at 18:30 CET on the south side of Estadio El Madrigal featuring the presence of club president, Fernando Roig, LaLiga president, Javier Tebas and Jose Benlloch, mayor of Vila-real.
The club will then hold a press conference in which they will disclose all details of the project.
All fans are welcome to join the ceremony, which will continue through the arrival of the bus carrying the home squad at around 19:15 CET.
Villarreal are taking up the torch from Atletico Madrid, who announced earlier in the season their new stadium will go by the name of Estadio Wanda-Metropolitano.
