The achievements of Pep Guardiola and David Villa at Barcelona place the coach in a very prestigious position inside the Spanish striker's heart.
Having worked with Vicente del Bosque, Luis Aragones, and Diego Simeone, the current Manchester City boss ranks above all else in the three-time LaLiga champion's mind.
"Guardiola is very good, one of the best coaches in the world," Villa told City's official media. "When you surround yourself with the best it's simply amazing, they do things you cannot even see.
"It was nice to have the opportunity to work at his side, I'm very proud of what we did at Barcelona.
"Pep is the best coach that I've had during my career."
Villa was recently named the MLS player of the year for 2016, outmuscling Sebastian Giovinco and Bradley Wright-Phillips for the honour.
