The South American Football Championship which is popularly known as the Copa America will kick off on the 14th of June, 2019. South America is known to produce a lot of football talent in world football and this year's Copa America competition will not be left behind as a lot of star players will be representing their country.
With Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi regarded as the biggest star to come out from the continent followed by Paris Saint Germain forward, Neymar Junior who has been reported to be out of the competition after rupturing ankle ligaments in Brazil's friendly match against Qatar on Wednesday.

James Rodriguez (Bayern Munich, Colombia)

With Luis Suarez’s starting bet in jeopardy due to his recent knee surgery, the responsibility of scoring goals falls on Edinson Cavani for Uruguay in Copa America. The PSG star is already his club’s all-time top scorer and his current season has been incredible in Ligue 1.
His 18 goals in the domestic competition are a major reason why manager Oscar Washington Tabarez is counting on him to deliver the goods. Uruguay may not be a favorite to win the tournament this year but having players like Cavani is always a big plus that will make them a better squad throughout the competition.
Luis Suarez (Barcelona, Uruguay)
Suarez can be classified as one the best strikers in the world today and he will be one of the players who Uruguay will be depending on this tournament. The Barcelona forward scored 21 goals in the La Liga winning season but is chances of making the Uruguayan squad was under threat after having a knee surgery towards the end of the season.
Suarez indicated that the three weeks that he missed after surgery have helped him to recharge his batteries ahead of playing with Uruguay at the Copa America this summer.
Sergio Aguero (Manchester City, Argentina)
Aguero won the Premier League with Manchester City back to back this season, with him contributing 21 goals in their road to success.
