7 months from now  Raphael   Sport News

The International break is finally over and the Premier League is set to return this weekend. On Saturday, Manchester United will host Crystal Palace at Old Trafford, League leaders Manchester City will be away against West Ham United, Liverpool will also travel to face Watford, and Bournemouth will host Arsenal. The weekend biggest game will feature Tottenham Hotspurs against Chelsea.
Today, we look at five clubs with the all-time highest number of goals in the League alone.
Tottenham- 1,500 Goals
Tottenham Hotspurs has scored 1,500 Premier League goals since 1992. The North London side is yet to lift a single League title but they have come close in the last few years. In 2016/17 season, they finished second behind Chelsea, and 2017/18 they were third at the end. There is progress because they are about to unveil a new stadium but maybe not really enough on the pitch.

Liverpool- 1,708 Goals

Liverpool last lifted Premier League trophy when it was called First Division. Since the new look League was unveiled in 1992, they have not tasted success. This season, Jurgen Klopp is determined to change that but Pep Guardiola seems to have other ideas. So far, the Reds have scored 1,708 goals in the League alone. They will certainly add on that number when they face Watford away this weekend.

Chelsea- 1,734 Goals
Chelsea is no doubt the second most successful team Premier League era. Since Russia billionaire Roman Abramovich took over the club in 2003, trophies keep on coming to Stamford Bridge. The Blues have lifted 5 League titles since 2004. Only Manchester United has won more since 1992. The club has netted 1,734 goals in that period.

Arsenal- 1,798 Goals
Arsenal is back on the ground after several successful years under long-serving boss Arsene Wenger. The Frenchman took over the club in 1996, introduced a new system of football that revolutionized the English game. However, things changed when the club started limiting first team investment to cater for Emirates Stadium costs. The decline was there for all to see.
The best period for the Gunners came between the year 1998 to 2005. In 2003/04 season, the club lifted a Golden Premier League trophy after going for a full season without a single defeat. Unai Emery is the new pilot and the mountain will be tough but he has started well. So far, the club has netted 1,798 goals since 1992.

1.Man United- 1,944 Goals
Manchester United is no doubt the most successful team in the Premier League era. The Red Devils might be struggling today but let’s not forget they have lifted 13 League titles since 1992.
In total, they have 20 in their cabinet. Sir Alex Ferguson takes the Lion share in that respect. He is the coach who helped them win the last League crown in 2013. In terms of goals, they have netted 1,944 goals since 1992.
