KickOff.com has learned that suspended Polokwane City striker Thobani Mncwango is still training with the Limpopo side, despite being told he won't be considered for any of the club's remaining matches. Mncwango, who is said to be contracted to the Citizens until 2018, was allowed back to training at the beginning of April but currently does not enjoy a good relationship with the club management and last featured for City in a 1-1 draw with Maritzburg United on February 2. The striker has netted only three goals in 14 Absa Premiership outings this season.

KickOff.com spoke to two reliable sources about the player's situation at the club. "Yes, Thobani is training with the team,” the first source who is also part of the club tells this website. "But he looks happier now that they have allowed him to train with the team again, after being told to stop coming to training. But I don't know what's the problem between him and the club management." A second source, who is very close to the player, says only the chairman Johny Mogaladi can explain what is happening with Mncwango as he is the one who controls everything at the club. "I really don't know why he [Mogaladi] suspended him [Mncwango], even the boy himself is in the dark,” said the second source. "But I know he is been training with the team again for a month now. Though he has been allowed back to training, he still cannot be considered for a position in the 18 men squad, why? Only the chairman knows. Does the boy deserve that? I really don't think so, but it's the chairman who is deciding about that and also about a lot of things, this man wants to control everything."
