SuperSport United coach Stuart Baxter is pleased with the progress of South Africa U-20 star Teboho Mokoena. Mokoena held his own in midfield in the Nedbank Cup quarter-final clash with Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium on Saturday, notably slotting one of the penalties in the 5-3 shootout victory for the champions. Mokoena has been called up by Amajita coach Thabo Senong for the upcoming U-20 World Cup in South Korea, with Baxter hopeful he can spare the player's services next month.

“He is doing nicely. We brought him along in a couple of games with a few substitutions here and there, and he played in CAF,” said Baxter. “I would like to send him to the World Cup with the U-20s. Our injury list will dictate if we can or we can't and his preparation with the team if the coach can work that out. “But undoubtedly he is a talented boy that I am sure South African football [fans] will get pleasure to watch.”
