Southampton forward, Tadic is looking forward to play against Hapoel tonight

Southampton forward Dusan Tadic could play in a facemask during his side's Europa League group game against Hapoel Be'er Sheva on Thursday. Tadic, 28, has not featured since breaking his nose while playing for Serbia against Wales in November. Saints will finish second in their group and reach the last 32 with a win or a goalless draw. But a win for Hapoel, or a score draw, would see the Israeli side progress to the knockout stage.
Teams that finish level on points in their group are separated by the results in their head-to-head meetings, followed by away goals scored in those games and then finally overall goal difference. The first game between the sides ended 0-0 in Israel. Saints boss Claude Puel has faced questions about the future of defender Jose Fonte in the build-up to the game. The Portugal international used an Instagram post on Tuesday to say he has not been offered a new contract by the club. "It's a situation and discussion between the player and the club," said Puel. "I cannot give a comment about this. The subject for me is to discuss and to speak about the game, an important game, and about the collective and the team."
