Setien: Expectations created for Jese Rodriguez have not been fulfilled

Things have been tough for Jese Rodriguez since he returned to LaLiga with his hometown club Las Palmas and coach Quique Setien has admitted that expectations were too high for the winger.
Joining on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in January, the former Real Madrid man has notched just two goals in nine appearances for Los Amarillos, who have drifted into mid-table obscurity.
"With Jese, expectations were created as with some other signings and they've not been fulfilled," he told reporters.
"So it's not easy for him.
"Bouncing back from a 3-1 loss to Celta Vigo is on the agenda for Las Palmas and Thursday sees them travel to the Basque Country for a match with Eibar.
"I hope in Eibar we improve on certain aspects of the game," Setien stated.
"I may do some rotations, as I have the whole squad available."There are many points left and I would like to finish the season on great form."
