Real Madrid are keen to make a double signing of Belgian stars from Chelsea this summer, but their pursuits of Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard remain complicated, particularly in the case of the Blues' No. 10.
Hazard still has two years to run on his contract and his star status make the Premier League side reluctant to part ways with him so, naturally, he would come at a high cost for the European champions, despite his well publicised desire to wear the white shirt of Real Madrid.
Negotiating with Roman Abramovich's club is never easy and Hazard being named as the Silver Ball winner at this summer's World Cup will only act to increase his value.
It is also important to remember that, unlike Courtois, his contract does not expire next summer and despite rejecting a number of renewal offers, Chelsea are unwilling to sell at any price.
