Former Real Madrid defender, Aurelio Campa, is dead at the age of 87. Real Madrid announced his death in a statement on their official website on Sunday.
“Real Madrid FC, its president and the Board of Directors, are deeply saddened by the death of Aurelio Campa, who was a player of our club during the 1953/54 and 1954/55 seasons,” a club’s statement read.

“Real Madrid would like to express their condolences and send their sympathy and support to his family and loved ones, a condolence that extends to all of Madridismo.
“During his time at Real Madrid C. F. Aurelio Campa won two leagues and a Copa Latina.”
