Rali Ramabodu believes Bloemfontein Celtic will triumph against Polokwane City

Bloemfontein Celtic managing director Rali Ramabodu has stressed the importance of winning Sunday's league clash with Polokwane City at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium (15h00). Celtic, who are mourning the death of their honorary life president Dr Rantlai Molemela, are desperate for points as they hover above the drop zone courtesy of goal difference with 10 matches left.

However, they will have to continue without new head coach Luc Eymael in the dugout. The Belgian remains sidelined due to his ongoing dispute with high-flying City, with assistant coach Lehlohonolo Seema forced to take charge again tomorrow. And while Ramabodu is aware of the challenges the team faces he backs them to rise to the occasion this weekend.

Ramabodu told the club's website: “It might seem difficult, but with the right focus, better preparations and zeal to win, we can beat any team. We are actually forced to win and continue playing cautiously and avoid conceding goals.” He added: “The passing of Dr Rantlai Molemela will obviously put a spotlight on how we will honour what he has worked for with such greatness. We will decide our destiny and with the positive spirit shown by the players and technical team, we will triumph,” concluded the Celtic M.D.
