Pescara pushed aside by rampant Roma

2 weeks ago  Raphael   Sport News

On the day when Roma finally unveiled Monchi as their sporting director, the first team were rampant as they took apart hapless Pescara by four goals to one.
The game was a slow burn but once it sprang into life, the visitors managed three goals in three minutes either side of half-time.
Kevin Strootman (44) and Radja Nainggolan (45) saw the Giallorossi go in at half-time the happier of the two teams, and once Mo Salah had added a third on 48 the game was over as a contest.
Salah, again, on the hour, added some gloss, and Wojciech Szczesny will be disappointed not to have kept a clean sheet after Ahmad Benali grabbed a late consolation for the hosts.
