Bayern Munich have been boosted by the news that both Manuel Neuer and Thomas Muller will be available for their UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie against Real Madrid. Neuer has been battling a minor knock and did not take any part in Germany's recent matches during the international break. Meanwhile, Muller picked up an ankle injury after scoring a brace in the 6-0 victory over Augsburg last Saturday.
However, Bayern head coach Carlo Ancelotti has revealed the pair will be in the mix for the vital first leg against Real at Allianz Arena next Wednesday. He told the club's official website: "We're certain Thomas will be ready to play again when we face Real. Manuel has no problems any more. He's 100 percent certain to be in goal against Real." The Bavarians are still alive in all competitions both domestically and in Europe, and will undoubtedly need their most influential players to be available to challenge on all fronts.
