The rotation that Zinedine Zidane announced on Saturday at a press conference may benefit Álvaro Morata on Sunday night, as the forward appears likely to spearhead a Real Madrid XI that will have several different faces from the side that faced Napoli.
Karim Benzema should make way as Zidane gives his countryman some rest, thus rewarding Morata in the process.
Four goals have been scored by the young Spaniard in the last five games in which he has participated.
The last, the third against Napoli, definitely sealed Real's passage into the Champions League quarter-finals and in addition, he found the net against Villarreal, Espanyol and Real Sociedad.
On 83 minutes against the Yellow Submarine, he scored the third goal of three to ensure Real bagged a win at the Estadio de la Ceramica, whilst he grabbed the opener in a 2-0 victory over Espanyol.
A third in the 3-0 win over La Real, sealed that particular game.Three goals that were added to his account in the domestic competition, in which he already had eight goals - seven of them scored in the second half.
Therefore, Morata doesn't want to miss the match on Sunday night and despite a scare in training, in which he had to be attended to by doctors after receiving a kick from Lucas to his left leg, he was finally able to confirm his place in the match squad.
