The final whistle on Wednesday night's draw between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid has failed to draw a halt to the battles between the rivals' players.
After a crunching tackle from Luis Suarez, Atleti left-back Filipe Luis hit back at the striker with an image of a bloodied foot on social media, receiving a frank rebuttal from the Blaugrana star.
"You dived, clown," Cuatro's TV cameras caught Suarez shouting at the Brazilian on the Camp Nou pitch. "Football is for men."
"Wimp," Koke called out to the Barcelona striker, smiling. "You're a wimp."
Emerging as the Other Clasico, Los Rojiblancos' clashes with Barcelona have become notoriously feisty with this latest edition no different.
"Football is for men," Suarez reiterated after the game, "these things should be left on the pitch.
"If everyone did this kind of thing it would be a circus of photographs. Did Messi publish a photo last season? No, the game is for men."
