Luc Eymael: Bloemfontein Celtic prepped for Kaizer Chiefs

Bloemfontein Celtic coach Luc Eymael says their preparations have gone well for Kaizer Chiefs' visit tonight despite his dispute with Polokwane City and concerns surrounding the Dr Molemela Stadium pitch. Eymael is still prevented from sitting on the Celtic bench as his case with City at the Premier Soccer League's Dispute Resolution Chamber was postponed again on Monday. Rise and Shine took the Belgian to the DRC after he resigned from them last month and swiftly joined Phunya Sele Sele. While Eymael is frustrated to the point where he feels like he is being treated like a criminal, he insists his men are responding to his methods in training. “The preparations are going well. The players are responding well to my method of playing,” Eymael tells KickOff.com.

“It's sad I will not be on the bench again, it's not fair. It's sad because I don’t understand, I am not a criminal. I don’t understand why it takes so much time.” Regarding the venue for this evening's league tie, he adds: “I hope the guys will react well. Our pitch is not in a good state at all. It's too late to move the venue because of the rules by the PSL. But our pitch is not good at all to play.” Assistant coach Lehlohonolo Seema will continue to supervise the hosts' dugout in Eymael's absence. Celtic are 12th on the table with 23 points from 22 games - two points above the drop zone, and 16 shy of third-placed Chiefs.
