Liverpool are hoping to sell Sturridge for a fee of around £40m

Liverpool are hoping for a fee of around £40m if Daniel Sturridge leaves Anfield this summer, while Marseille and Man City are keen on Arsenal star Laurent Koscielny, according to Monday’s papers. Liverpool will reportedly place a £40m valuation on striker Daniel Sturridge if the England international indicates he would like to leave Anfield this summer.

The price tag is incredible given that Sturridge has hardly featured from the start for the Reds this season due to constant injury issues. However, according to the Daily Mail, Liverpool feel there will be plenty of competition for the 27-year-old, who has scored 59 goals in 115 games for the Anfield outfit. One club who have been strongly linked with a move for Sturridge is West Ham but even they are likely to be put off by such a high asking price.
