Late Emiliano Sala Makes List of Best and Worst Finishers in Europe Top 5 Leagues alongside Messi

As the 2018-19 season in all major leagues nears its business end, there is no doubt that all top teams' striker and attackers are trying to come up with their best performances in order to help their team achieve glory in this campaign.
The race for the European Golden Shoe is also getting exciting, with Barcelona's Lionel Messi leading the goalscoring charts with 33 and Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappé second with 27 goals in the season up till now.
Understat have revealed who is the best by breaking down each player's stats in respect to the number of goals they have scored minus the goals they were expected to score.
FC Barcelona legend Lionel Messi tops the chart with a conversion rate of 9.37 and is followed by Borussia Dortmund's Paco Alcacer, who is currently sitting on 7.07.
AC Milan's Krzysztof Piatek takes third place with a 5.24 rating followed by the late Emiliano Sala (RIP) in fourth with 5.2. Tottenham's Son Heung-Min is the fifth best striker this season with an average of 4.97.
Moving on to the worst finishers, Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski, who is the top scorer in the Bundesliga this season, has astonishingly, the worst conversion rate among all players in Europe at -9.31.
Spanish side Villarreal's Gerard Moreno came second with -6.16, Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus came third with -4.92 and Roma's Edin Dzeko came in fourth with -4.89 in the top five players with the worst conversion rate. Lyon's Memphis Depay secured the number five spot with -4.06 rating when it came to finishing.
