Isco: Where we are is down to Zidane's rotation

3 days from now  Raphael   Sport News

Returning to Real Madrid's starting XI, Isco was pivotal in the win against Celta Vigo at Balaidos on Wednesday night, and he was quick to praise coach Zindedine Zidane.
The midfielder set up Cristiano Ronaldo's second goal as Madrid cruised to a 4-1 win that means that only a draw is required against Malaga on Sunday to clinch LaLiga.
"We've won another final and now we've got the final push," he said after the game.
"The Malaga match is going to be just as difficult as this one, and we're very motivated.
"I've got lots of friends there. It'll be a great story if we win the league there. It's going to be very special and I hope it's beautiful.
"Ok we'll need a point, but we're going to go there looking for a win like we always do."
The 25-year-old will face his hometown club on Sunday, if selected, and the prospect of lifting the trophy at La Rosaleda is one that means a lot to him.
"It will be special, it always is going home. And on top of that we're in with a chance of winning the league, which I've still not done yet," he continued.
"I hope it's a good game and that we're crowned champions."
Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice to break Jimmy Greaves' all-time goalscoring record, and Isco reserved special praise for the Portugal forward.
"It's very easy to play with him, all you need to do is give him the ball near the box and he does the rest," he enthused.
"He's come into the final part of the season like a plane but it's not just him, everyone's like a plane."
Zidane has rotated his side to contend with the strain of a Champions League and LaLiga run in, and the Frenchman's ability to do so has impressed Isco.
"Where we are is thanks to Zidane's work," he said.
"We're all playing and we all have to do our bit; running, attacking, defending, helping - but that's what Real Madrid is all about."
