Barcelona captain Andres Iniesta has claimed that he has little interest in the Champions League final since his team is not involved in it.

The midfielder was speaking at an event in Barcelona, and despite journalists being restricted in asking questions, the event moderator did bring up a few topical issues to the Spanish international.

"Madrid and Juve are just Champions finalists, but you lose interest when you do not play the final," he said. The Blaugrana skipper also praised teammate Lionel Messi."Messi is the best player in history," he claimed with confidence.He also added that his best Champions League memory was the dramatic semi-final win over Chelsea in 2009 at Stamford Bridge, in which he scored a late equaliser to send the Catalans into the final.
