As he reaches the end of his third campaign with Atletico Madrid, Antoine Griezmann has the chance to surpass the goal tallly of Diego Forlan.
The Uruguayan had the most successful period of a Los Rojiblancos goalscorer in his first three years as a player for the club scoring 86 goals.
He managed to notch 35 in his second season alone.
However, Euro 2016 runner-up Griezmann is just nine goals behind in equalling Forlan, a credit to a player who has come under scrutiny at times during this campaign for productivity in front of goal.
Twelve games remain including at least one more Europa League tie for the supposed Manchester United target.
Should he reach the milestone, regardless of a possible summer move, Griezmann must be remembered as one of Atletico Madrid's greatest goal scorers.
