It's hard to doubt Antoine Griezmann's ambition and the French forward has reiterated his desire to lift major honours at Atletico Madrid.
Constant rumours putting the striker towards a move to Manchester United are yet to subside and this summer's transfer saga continues apace.
"It has been a beautiful year and hopefully I can improve in every year and win trophies with this team," Griezmann told the official Atleti website. "I will do everything possible."
Griezmann even seemed comfortable enough looking towards how next season at Atletico may unfold.
"We are happy because we have achieved our goals, maybe we could have done more but it was not to be," he added.
"Next year we'll have new goals and new challenges.
"First we must work on the signings and the team, and then go to San Rafael and build the same dynamic that we have been creating for a long time.
"We have to prepare well in pre-season and start the games with strength from the outset."
