FALCAO IS SAID TO MAKE A MOVE TO CHINA

Monaco striker Radamel Falcao has left the door open to a potential switch to China having turned down a lucrative offer from the Far East during the January transfer window. Falcao, 31, has rediscovered something close to his best form for Monaco this season after enduring two disastrous years in the Premier League with Manchester United and Chelsea. The Colombia international’s form in front of goal has helped fire a free-scoring Monaco side to the top of Ligue 1 this season but the striker has one eye on the future and has teased a potential move to China. “You can never say never,” Falcao told CNN, via Get French Football when asked about a move to China in the future. They are signing big players. Personally, I rejected offers from over there because I have aims for Europe. “You never know what the future holds… Maybe an opportunity will come up to play over there, in the United States or to return to South America.” Of players that have started at least 10 Ligue 1 games this season, only Edinson Cavani (1 every 80.2 mins) and Kylian Mbappe (every 81.7 mins) have required fewer minutes per goal than Falcao (84.5 mins).
