Cristiano Ronaldo: Record breaker

7 months from now  Raphael   Sport News

Scoring the first and almost getting the final touch on the winner, Cristiano Ronaldo enjoyed an eventful evening but didn't need a second goal to break yet another record.
The leveller against Al-Jazira made him the top scorer in the history of the Club World Cup, with six goals exceeding the five of Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.
For any other player, it would be a remarkable moment in their career, but for Ronaldo it was just another game and just another record to add to the collection.
If he was to change his name, he would have to change it to Record Breaker, to add to his huge array of titles.
The top goalscorer for Real Madrid (420 goals), Portugal (79), in the Champions League (113), in the European Championship (9), in the Club World Cup (6) and in one season of Champions League football (17), this season has seen Ronaldo become the first player to score in all six group games of the Champions League and he is the highest ever scoring Portuguese player, on 624 goals compared to Eusebio's 621.
It is hard work to fit all of his records onto one page.
His goal on Wednesday drew a difficult and complicated game level and came at a crucial time in as his team look to add another trophy to the club museum.
For the third game in a row, Ronaldo has scored and broken a record in the process, putting an end to his goal drought.
Now having shed any nerves, he is back to writing footballing history.
