It was an evening of great success for Real Madrid after a 2-0 victory over Malaga secured the LaLiga title but Cristiano Ronaldo will return to Madrid with significant battle scars after a collision with Federico Ricca left him with a deep cut on his leg.
Ricca challenged the former Manchester United forward in a careless manner and actually struck his leg with his studs.
The contact left a mark and Ronaldo was forced to ice his leg whilst celebrating the club's success once the full-time whistle had been blown.
