Cristiano Ronaldo draws level with Messi with third free-kick of the season

Known for dead-ball prowess, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored his third free-kick of the season, drawing level with nemesis Lionel Messi.
The four-time Ballon d'Or champion was on hand to score the equaliser, powering home an equaliser in the 62nd minute to hand the visitors a lifeline.
That was not enough, though, with Celta Vigo progressing to the semi-finals 4-3 on aggregate.
Nevertheless, the free-kick proved to be the Portuguese's third for the season having also scored against Sporting CP in the Champions League and against Atletico Madrid in LaLiga.
His goal was his 23rd attempt of the season and currently has a success rate of 13%, slightly higher than Messi's three goals from 25 attempts at a rate of 12%.
Ronaldo's best returns came in season 2009/10 when he finished the season with six free-kick goals.
In total, the 31-year-old has scored 32 free-kicks, six more than rival Messi, who has 26 to his name.
