BALOTELLI SCORES TWICE ON NICE DEBUT

4 months from now  tobi   Sport News

Mario Balotelli took just seven minutes to open his account for new side Nice, netting a penalty to give his team the lead against Marseille before adding a second after the break. The Italian, who left Liverpool for the Ligue 1 side over the summer, scored his first league goal for 355 days, firing past the goalkeeper who dived the right way but could not keep it out.
Nice's lead was short-lived, however, with Florian Thauvin, on loan from Newcastle, equalising for the visitors just six minutes later before a Bafétimbi Gomis spot kick put Marseille ahead. However, Balotelli levelled for his side, heading home from close range to make it 2-2 on 78 minutes before Cyprien made it 3-2.
