Ancelotti: I'm not surprised by Guardiola criticism

Pep Guardiola's replacement at Bayern Munich, Carlo Ancelotti, has launched a staunch defence of the Manchester City coach and believes he will ultimately triumph in England.
In recent weeks, the Catalan has been the subject of criticism in England due to both on field results and a certain prickliness in dealing with the media.
However, former Chelsea coach Ancelotti was insistent that given time, Guardiola will deliver titles in the Premier League.
"In football, when things go well we congratulate the players but when things go wrong, we blame the coach," the Italian said in Doha, where Bayern are currently relaxing over the winter break.
"When a coach takes over in a new league it is never easy and everyone requires to adapt to their new surroundings.
"I'm sure that in the end, Guardiola will do a fantastic job at City, as he did with Bayern. But it will take time. He has new players there and they are dealing with a new way of playing."
