Alex Martin mimics Ramos to rescue Real Madrid in UEFA Youth League

Real Madrid's Juvenil A squad secured their passage into the UEFA Youth League semi-finals thanks to a 2-1 win over Ajax on Wednesday afternoon.
A handball in the Dutch side's area gifted Alex Martin the chance to win the game with just 12 minutes left on the clock and the centre-back duly slotted the ball home in scenes reminiscent of the senior side's victory past Napoli the night before, which also came via a goalscoring defender.
It had taken just five minutes for Guti's youngsters to get ahead at Estadio Alfredo di Stefano as Dani Gomez turned in Achraf Hakimi's cross.
However Ajax came back into the match after the hour mark and it surprisingly wasn't via free-scoring Kosovo striker Kaj Sierhuis, who failed to notch in the Youth League for this first time this season and instead Noa Lang volleyed the scores level after a free-kick wasn't cleared.
The visitors couldn't go on and register a second, however, and Martin's penalty proved decisive to send Madrid into the last-four where they'll play Benfica in Switzerland on April 21.
